I would like to see ...

integrates with eWay.com.au

I am hoping to use Xero.com to send invoices, and then eWay.com.au to auto-magically process the payments (using eWay autobill or token payments)

FionaFellFionaFell shared a merged idea: integrate invoice with payments (single/recurring) via eWay.com.au  ·   ·

Work has begun on an integration between Xero and eWay – we don’t have exact timing, but this is under active development and will feature in one of our next releases.
This will allow invoices sent through Xero online invoicing to be paid using eWay payment processing.

A reminder for those of you asking about integrating eWay and shopping carts with Xero, the best approach is to connect the shopping cart to Xero using an eCommerce Add–on (http://www.xero.com/add-ons/ecommerce/).
You can also check out this guide on easily reconciling these sales with bulk remittances from payment processing services: http://blog.xero.com/developer/handling-payment-processor-receipts-in-xero/.

That's great news Matt! Does this mean we would need to switch to Rapid 3.0 then?

Any ETA on this feature? Even the most basic implementation would be very handy as a starting point.

Will this allow me to create recurring payments in eWay and have those invoice details synced back to Xero, or is it going to be a one way Syncing operation?

Will it be able to be used this way....

I create invoices in xero... i click on the link... it takes me to eway... i process transaction on customers behalf using eway stored tokens feature ... i then send the customer the invoice marked as paid

(FYI in my case cust has already given me permission to store their details)

this is important to find out

        is this possible??

That's great news Matt! I can't wait to see it in action. I wonder if Xero can give us an ETA....

Hey Matt....thanks for taking an active stance in this! This particular integration is going to help us so much and cut down time we spend on book keeping.

I am stoked about the additional announcment you made regarding bank reconciliation.

I look forward to hearing more info when it ready.

Well done to Xero and eWay....the new Dynamic Duo!

        Cheers,

        Dave

Dave we believe the Xeros guys are linking to our Rapid 3.0 solution - this supports Australia, New Zealand, UK and any new countries we add. Best thing is Xero are in these same countries as eWAY - I have personally met with Rod the CEO and all the country managers - great team and a great product.

At eWAY we are also working on an app to assist with bank reconciliation and eWAY payments to close the gap between offline and online payments. More on this soon.

Will this available for eWay.co.uk as well? Matt....good to see you chime in on this! I hope you can take an active stance on pushing this through.

Also to integrate with eWay so that reconciliation is made easier between the shopping carts, eWay and the banking

Very poor performance from xero, Eway offer easier to integrate protocols than paypal and still no progress on this integration.

Like all of the others here we are also stuck with freshbooks.

If the Xero admins could indicate a delivery date for this function it would be great.

hi, any update on this? It is all that is left to stop me from using Freshbooks..

        thanks

Xero, can you provide an update on this? We are looking to implement eWay and I really need integration between it and Xero.

There has to be a way to do this.....would it be best to contact eWay and push it from then end?

eWay is fast becoming the payment gateway of choice.

Any indication of how far up the chain this is would be great!

Any new updates on this? I'm looking to switch from Quickbooks online and would love not to use Freshbooks for billing. Thanks!!
