Provide Integration with Google Apps (single sign on)
Many apps are providing integration with google apps. It would be nice to be able to have Xero added to my list.
We are pleased to announce we released Google single sign on in mid June: https://blog.xero.com/2011/06/google-single-sign-on/
There have been some interesting comments on things related to this – please feel free to create a separate suggestion for them.

This would be fantastic. As much as possible I'm trying to use only web apps in my business. Google Apps is the central glue that holds everything together. Single sign-on will allow Xero to be "installed" from within the Apps Marketplace. Makes a lot of business sense in terms of customer acquisition.

I think linking with Google Apps, especially Mail & Docs is very important... and we could then use Docs as the archive of documents created in Xero. Please guys... you know you want to!

Ivan: I think this ticket is only for using a single Password with google Apps - Put the geeky way: They have a Single Sign on Service based on OAuth+OpenID use this for Xero Authentication like http://github.com/hudora/django-googleappsauth does)
For further integration like you suggest I think there should be a separate suggestion in this uservoice forum.

My ideas include: 1) Sync contacts with Google's Contacts 2) Send invoices directly from Gmail 3) Show Invoice due dates on Google Calendar 4) Link expense claims to PDF receipts stored in Google Docs. I am personally doing all 4 manually right now, so it would be great if this functionalities are built in.
