Please let us know here what products you’d like to see integrated with Xero. In most cases, Xero won’t be able to build an integration ourselves, but if it receives enough votes, we will make contact with the other product and see what we can do.

    How would be an idea of integrating Xero with major Australian EDI service providers. Someone like Leadtec Systems www.leadtec.com.au

  2. Vendor Bill Approval Routing Process

    My company uses Xero for our financials, but one big issue we have found is within the approval process. There is no notifications, multi-level approvals, or approval routing. This is quite frustrating, see these conversations in the Xero Community:

    As you can see this is a big functionality gap with many requests.

    Ideally, the Accounts Payable associate would create a Vendor Bill in Xero, the API & external application would route the Vendor Bill for approval (according to some workflow rules), and upon approval (Webapp, Mobile app, email, etc) from the managers,…

  3. Google calendar time integration with Xero Projects

    I'm encouraging my clients to use Xero Projects to better understand profitability by job/client. It would be great to get an input feed from Google calendar (much like a bank feed) that would allow them to allocate their time to projects.

    Currently the biggest form of resistance is not wanting yet another task of time tracking.

  5. Integrate with MS Office

    Would be great to be able to paste a clients contact name/address into a Word doc by a dropdown selection directly in Word.

    I know its not a big market, but on the other side there is no competition on the online accounting market and the offline solutions are terrible.

  7. Import Invoices in Foreign Currencies using your Import Template

    We are trading in multiple currencies, and unless we can import invoices in a foreign currency, the time overhead in xero (manually changing each draft invoice) will be way too onerous. This or the ability to update the currency field of multiple draft invoices at the same time is vital!

  10. Dove POS integration with Xero

    Have Dove POS (http://www.dovepos.com/) integrate with Xero - they provide a Point of Sale application for florist shop. Vote here to be kept up to date with any news on when they might be able to integrate with Xero, but also be sure to let them know you want this if you are a Dove POS customer!

  11. an add on to handle cash flow management.

    Expected payment dates good in accounts payable but need an add on to help small business cashflow. At the moment we export this info to a spreadsheet and do it manualy. This would complete the picture!....for now. Cheers,

  13. Product images (jpeg) in my invoices. sell artworks and industry standard is to have the product details and a pic (in my case a painting).

    Id like to see the ability to upload a specific image into a invoice. I sell art and it is appropriate to have a pic of the purchased artwork on the invoice. Text alone is not good enough.

  14. HipChat integration for important events

    We, and a lot of other people, use HipChat to stay up to date with how everything in our site and third party services are running.

    It would be super handy if Xero could send messages to a room in HipChat for certain events like invoice created / paid etc.

  17. Supercontrol

    Supercontrol is a rapidly expanding software for holiday letting and holiday property management companies. There is a huge gap in market here for an intergrated accounts and bookings package. At present we bank deposit and balance payments from customers booking the cottages, work out by deducting the letting companies fees VAT etc and then making a payment to the cottage owner. This is done manually. Also being able to charge back items such as cleaning etc to the cottage owner. Supercontrol has no way of linking to Zero so a human interface is needed to prepare the list of payments…

  19. Zapier

    We need an action to create a time entry into a time sheet to bring data across from other time tracking applications. I am trying to get data from, either Harvest or Timecamp. At the moment it looks like I need to copy and past this data across.
