  2. New Feature - Contacts Reform

    • Contacts/Project Dashboard - The Contacts page could be improved with a dashboard of all relevant data for that Contact such as the P&L for the client and their projects. I would also like to see a Statement feature detailing all invoices and payments in journal display i.e. account debits and credits, filtered either by Contact and/or Projects.

    • Sales Pipeline – A New Leads/Tenders/Quotes feature would allow the Sales team to add details for new clients and projects. Unsuccessful New Leads could be demoted to Old Bids which would keep the contact, bid and project details on the system.…

  3. Get address lable for my organization

    When I create new delivery address for new PO I am able to specify its lable. However when I try to obtain available addresses from my company settings I cannot find address lable only address type. For all delivery addresses this type is the same: DELIVERY.

    We would like to list company addresses the way it is done during Purchase Order creation in Xero. The problem is that API does not send back the "Label" of the addresses (bold text like "Postal" or "Physical").   4. include the Group ID field in the Clients API method for Xero Practice Manager

    This is more for the WorkflowMax/Practice Manager API but as I can't seem to find a community site for that product I'm posting here. It seems like an oversight to not include the group ID. Can this be added please.

  5. add the ability to hide empty fields for clients

    When in the Client view, it would be helpful if you could opt to only show fields containing data.
    With the ability to enter a large variety of data fields, the page is quite long, however, for many clients a limited number of fields actually contain data.
    If the view could be minimised to only show the fields that actually contain data, the page would be shorter and easier to see the information at a glance without the need to scroll through the page.

  6. Can we have the old feature of the A-Z tabs at the top when searching for contacts?

    We used to have A-Z tabs on the top of the window to enable us to search for a contact. Could this feature be re-enabled as currently we cannot browse the contacts - we have to type in a name.

  7. Include contacts that have been converted to customers (or suppliers) when "If-Modified-Since" filter is applied

    When a contact is created in Xero it is not until after an invoice has been created that it gets converted to a customer (or supplier). Which is expected.

    However when the "If-Modified-Since" filter is used on the GET Contacts endpoint where the "If-Modified-Since" date is after the contact is created but before the conatct as made into a supplier (i.e. after the isCustomer or isSuppler flag flips from false to true in the body of the Contact response) then the contact is not returned in the response.

  9. Fix the Contact creation API to fail when PUT-ing a duplicate contact that has been archived

    Currently (Jan 2016, API 2.0) using the API to PUT a new contact fails when its email is in use by an existing contact - as would be expected.

    However, if the contact that has the duplicate is archived, the PUT will SUCCEED, returning a new contact ID and everything. However, the new contact will not actually be added. This can be done repeatedly, each time "generating" a new contact ID.

  10. reminder

    Optimise the collection process by having an automatic 'reminder' date (day/week) or a manual action to remind you to follow up outstanding account for payment. A calendar format to set action / follow update. Perhaps integrate with MS Outlook to include email attachments for follow up action.

  11. TaxNumber type field

    Contact entity has a field to store Tax number type (EIN, SSN, ITIN and ATIN). This field is accessible via UI or in exported csv file, but not accessible via API, while "Tax Number" itself can be read using API.

  12. Expose whether invoice reminders are enabled for a particular contact

    This request is to expose a boolean value to determine whether invoice reminders are enabled for a particular contact.

    I would like to get a contact's statement via API just like the case is for invoices.In the request, we provide contact name then the response is the statement of the contact.This will be a cool feature to have.

  19. use consistent response structures

    The addition of reporting a contact's balances was a great addition, however I feel the response structure should be consistent, regardless of balances. Where any balances are $0, this should be reported as $0, instead of being removed. By removing the key, we are left only being able to test for the absence of data, which creates an assumptive logic.

    I understand that removing keys for null values might be part of your api design (ie no email address entered doesn't return an empty <EmailAddress>, but technically, a customer always has a balance so there for the Balances data should…

  20. Make the BrandingTheme for a contact customizable

    Currently the field 'BrandingTheme' is only returned on a GET request. We would like to have this field customizable, so we can change the theme used based on info in our CRM
