    This suggestion is well overdue for an update!

    Support for updating the chart of the accounts was released back on the 4th of May.

    We also have the Setup endpoint for the bulk creation of chart of accounts. See the conversions guide for more details on that http://developer.xero.com/documentation/api-guides/conversions/.

    The only outstanding functionality is to be able to update bank accounts. I’ve created another post to track demand for that specific feature:

        Updating existing accounts and inserting accounts in bulk via the API would greatly assist in meeting the needs of systems that have basic account information already.

        Being able to import COA and other Attributes (Name, Tel #, etc) via API or other quick way from an Excel/CSV will save consultants and clients lot of time, so when we add new clients we do not have to manually enter them.

        I saw the API there is only GET request for Account Code. Is there ability to create a new Account Code via API, as my finance is asking me to create like 50 new account code during setup. Or is account code always need to be manually enter at the web?
