  Yes, thatd be very important -> when editing a invoice via API, to leave a note about it!

  Have you even tried this? The Xero interface does tell you if the invoice came through the API. If you want to check this on a third party system, just store the fact you sent it through to the API in the first place.

  i'd at least like to see if the invoice was created via the api or not...
