    You have left! (?) (thinking…)
How important is this to you?

This suggestion is now almost four years old and has 174 votes. That makes it one of the most requested changes, but there is still no indication of when Xero may have it. Is there a reason why anyone needs this done with the API? If your statements are in CSV, IIF, QIF or equivalent format, I should be able to upload them quickly and automatically.

Our free 0CPAs Internet Explorer (not Xero) API program exports Xero rules to Excel. You need not use IE (I use Chrome). It is not a trial. This 0CPAs will always give you the fastest (2 lines a second) and easiest way to find and fix Xero errors (except for later very inexpensive versions, discounted for early users). Compare your rules to our sample and sorted Excel rule files (after and before), plus Excel files created for other companies, to make your rules far more comprehensive and generic (cover many new payees automatically).
    ...
I already gave a 0CPAs demo to several top Xero people. Simply Google 0CPAs for your free copy. It will do far more by XeroCon US (9/3-9/6/13)

Here are recent Xero EDII posts, They show that Xero EDI will be a reality as soon as the first Xero user wants it.

Mike Block CPA • I had a long conversation with DiCentral about their EDI. They contacted me due to my posts in a related Xero EDI thread. I have been very pro-EDI for around 20 years. That is about when a U.N. Committee report said that using common business forms and EDI would save trillions of dollars a year (adjusted for inflation).

Here is an exciting summary of my DiCentral EDI conversation: they will give Xero EDI if they get even ONE Xero customer committed. I do not remember the exact initial setup ESTIMATE, but believe it was only around $500. The subsequent transaction fees also were shockingly low. I will gladly help anyone with this at minimal cost.

Ronan Quirke (top Xero Add-ons manager) • Thanks Mike, if all those interested in a DiCentral integration with Xero can vote and subscribe to updates here, I can use this to make sure everyone is kept up to date and show the interest level to the team at DiCentral: http://xero.uservoice.com/forums/28866-integration-with-other-products/suggestions/2986219-di-central-integration-with-xero

Mike Block CPA • Thanks very much Ronan. I am happy to have you jumping in. I thought of writing to you even before I posted, but it has been a long day (now 1:30 am) in a long week, month and year. However, please also post your comment to the Xero forums where EDI came also came up.

By the way, my U.S. payroll integrating programmer also has been having his share of problems. 106 degree temperatures are not good for computers or people, but he should finish this week.
