    That’s an interesting challenge! Handling check numbers efficiently within the API would improve transaction tracking. Perhaps Xero could introduce a validation layer that flags duplicate check numbers before submission, preventing errors beforehand.     To enhance the "Create Contact" functionality in the API, currently only the "Bank Account Number" is supported in the "PUT"/"POST" request. It would be beneficial to include all available fields, such as "Bank Name" and "Details", in the API call, which are exposed during the manual creation of a contact. Expanding this would allow for a more complete and flexible API that mirrors the capabilities available through the manual interface.
