To add all fields of bank account details in Create Contact "PUT"/"POST" request.
In Create Contact "PUT"/"POST" request, now only "Bank Account Number" supported. It does not support "Bank Name" or "Details".
Please add all fields to API call , (whichever are exposed via Manual creation of Contact ).

As a general rule could you please ensure that all fields can be created, updated and read via the API. This limitation very much diminishes what is otherwise a great API.
I need to be able to automatically create hundreds of new contacts from another system that have both banking and project details included.
Wasting valuable staff time to upload CSV files and then setting project details is not acceptable.
I note that this request is four years old.

This is needed, having to manually add the account name into every contact after the api POST the bank account number is a nightmare! Quite a basic field to be able to POST

Anyone knows what happened with this request? Any other way to POST bank account name to Xero ? Thanks

We would use this as well. Any chance that Xero updates the API to make this possible?

How on earth isn't this possible by default?
IMO, it's a prime candidate for an update; non-breaking, <1h fix.
Xero should definitely look to embrace open-source.
