    We build AI Employees for accounting and bookkeeping firms (MyAgentive), and the Reports API is central to how our bookkeeper users automate their monthly reporting. Now that the V1 layouts have been retired in the UI with no V2 equivalent on the API, our customers can no longer pull the custom P&L layouts they built and published in Xero. Falling back to manual download breaks the automation entirely and pushes firms to rebuild reports outside Xero, which makes the native reports redundant over time.

    A supported endpoint to retrieve published and draft V2 report layouts, including groupings, columns and comparison periods, would let third party tools stay aligned with what firms actually see in Xero. Please prioritise this. Even a public target timeframe would help vendors and firms plan rather than sit in limbo.
