  1. Opening Expenses API to work with ApprovalMax

    The expenses approval settings within Xero is too basic and unable to satisfy real world needs. I try to use ApprovalMax and was advised that Xero Expenses API are not yet open to them although they are planning to add this in their product.

    I would like to see this be added ASAP so I can introduce my clients who need an elaborated approval process to use Xero Expenses

  3. Employee access to a SINGLE bank or credit card account

    I want an employee with a company credit card to be able to enter and classify purchases they make with that card. But I DON'T want them to have access to the entire system! Right now, AFAIK, this is not possible in Xero.

  4. Vendor Bill Approval Routing Process

    My company uses Xero for our financials, but one big issue we have found is within the approval process. There is no notifications, multi-level approvals, or approval routing. This is quite frustrating, see these conversations in the Xero Community:

    As you can see this is a big functionality gap with many requests.

    Ideally, the Accounts Payable associate would create a Vendor Bill in Xero, the API & external application would route the Vendor Bill for approval (according to some workflow rules), and upon approval (Webapp, Mobile app, email, etc) from the managers,…

  6. Gmail Add on for expenses

    I get most of my receipts through Gmail, and I always label them as such, and then go into Xero to add them in. But I'd love to be able to add them in as expenses, right from Gmail. (I assume others get their receipts through Gmail).

    With other add-ons, I've seen other drop-downs added to the top bar, so I would imagine it would follow a similar flow with what I think are the four most imporant fields

    "Add Receipt --> From --> Account --> Total"

    I understand there would be a privacy issue, but I imagine there could…

  7. Please create an expense integration with Harvest

    Our staff is already using Harvest for time reporting—right now we need to use a separate workflow through Xero that is far more complex to report expenses. Having harvest integration on expenses would be ideal: then we can literally have one front-office tool for operations and leave Xero to the back office.
