I would also value this functionality. For example I act as an agent for my customers and purchase items on their behalf (I am flat rate VAT registered so it makes sense to pass on costs as disbursements).
I attach the original receipts against the invoice in Xero but it would be really helpful to see all the files attached when sending the invoice email and be able to select any to attach to the client's email.
