Allow return of Paystubs/Payslips in pdf format
It indicates you can do this for Invoices by setting the “Accept” value in the http header to “application/pdf”. I want the same functionality for the Paystubs/Payslips

This is the only barrier to us implementing Xero Payroll. Can't believe this request is 10 years old and still no action from Xero

Xero are being manipulative... they withhold YTD values for the same reason they don't allow you to download the PDF payslip via the API... they're trying to force you to use the crappy XeroME interface.
Stop being lame Xero!!!... allow at least one of these so we can get on with life, keep using the good parts of your service and build our own front end. HURRY UP AND ALLOW PDF DOWNLOAD OF PAYSLIPS!! :( -
