integrate with Harvest (www.getharvest.com)
Best online timesheeting application I have come across - apart from the fact that I have to manually re-enter time into Xero for invoicing.
We are delighted to say the Harvest team have now completed integration with Xero. See our blog post for details: http://blog.xero.com/2013/01/harvest-less-time-tracking-and-more-time-doing/
The Harvest team also have a blog post with further details: http://www.getharvest.com/blog/2013/01/xero-and-harvest-no-more-copy-paste/

This would really useful . This is stopping me from using Xero for my small business.

This would greatly benefit my small consulting firm. I use contractors heavily, and currently use FB+Xero+Manymoon for the biz. But, the handoff between FB and Xero is so rough (the way the data is presented on the invoice is NOT what I want my customers to see) I redo most of it manually. PLUS, there is no way to automate the AP Invoice creation off the FB timesheet. Harvest seems incredibly robust & easy, but I won't consider it unless it has both AP and AR integration.

Completely agree. Harvest is much more versatile than freshbooks, and would be a much better match.

Likewise, seriously considering ditching Workflow Max for Harvest but really a waste of time without Xero.com integration... ETA anyone???

The lack of integration with Harvest is the only thing keeping me from subscribing to Xero.

I would definitely like to see this - the fact that Harvest will also bill in multi-currency and Xero handles multicurrency is powerful mix. Love for my mobile professional to be able bill time on the run, we can then bill and push through to XERO. Although you can't bill Add ons to support every product - Harvest is a good one.

How long do these things typically stay in "Planned"? Months, years? Or is planned the same thing as not planned but just a way of attracting new customers with 'hope'? I 'hope' to see a status up-date-soon =)

Yes please, I wish to get rid of MYOB. Harvest plus Xero is the go!

Harvest is an incredible product and web app. Any automatic sync between the two would be incredible. My favorite feature is taking receipts on the iPhone for expenses. Would love this to integrate with Xero.

Yes, I'm looking at Outright over Xero simply because of them supporting Harvest... but I need some of Xero's features.

As a long-time Harvest and 1-year Xero business user, I really hope this happens. My fear though it that integration will only apply to Harvest invoices, not payroll. (My company doesn't bill clients based on hours, but on deliverables. For us, Harvest's main use is so employees/contractors know what to expect by way of payment.)

I've used Harvest, and when evaluating related software, thought the love-child of Harvest and Xero would be perfect. In the end I went with Free Agent Central because the built-in integration of time-tracking and accounting was quite good. After using FAC for a year, I like it, but think Harvest + Xero might be even better, and keep watching Xero's progress.
