Integrate with rental (property) data - find a partner to do it
Xero and rental (property) data - anyone connected?
I'm interested in integrations between Xero and property management data, specifically out of REST (see link).
Having spoken to the REST product manager (!!) they a) have the majority market share within real estate agents for property mgt software and b) have no way or plans to allow data to be extracted from their system other than the normal PDF monthly statements. Even their i-REST (web front-end) allows nothing more than online access to the PDFs (rather than them being emailed) - yuk. Might have to go down a PDF, data-scraping route... double yuk! This is significant for clients with larger portfolios of property who are currently keying in 10's (or more!?) of multi-line statements every month.
Please post if you 1) have a similar experience/interest, 2) know of a way to use REST and Xero !?!?! 3) Have solved this with Xero and other property mgt software!?!

This sounds like a valuable direction, especially for teams working with accurate rental insights and valuation context. Having access to reliable public property data can really strengthen integration outcomes and improve data matching. I’ve seen resources like https://hernandopropertyappraiser.org
used to complement rental datasets with verified parcel and value information. Combining sources like this can help create more consistent, well-rounded data connections. -

Integrating rental data is a smart move, especially for improving accuracy and decision-making across property insights. Having access to verified ownership, valuation trends, and local datasets can really strengthen any integration effort. Resources like https://manateecountypropertyappraiser.org can help support cleaner data matching and deeper analysis. A collaboration built around reliable records can add real value for both sides and scale well over time.

Integrating rental data is a smart move and could unlock better insights for pricing, compliance, and market trends. You might consider partnering with a local data source that already maintains verified ownership and valuation details.Access to tools like https://leoncountypropertyappraiser.org can help align rental datasets with accurate parcel-level information. This kind of collaboration can reduce data gaps and create a more reliable foundation for scalable rental analytics.

That’s a great suggestion — integrating with rental data could open up a lot of insights for users and investors. I’ve recently come across some helpful resources on https://leecountypropertyappraiser.org that provide detailed information about ownership and market evaluation, which might align well with this idea. Collaboration with such data sources could make the system more comprehensive and useful overall.
