I would really like it if Xero used the "email address" or something hidden (customer reference etc) for us to focus on. Unfortunately they match on the "company name" as entered...
In our long term todo list we will be adding more xero sync for all client data (not just invoiced clients) and stock lists. As part of this we would be recording the Xero client guid and storing against our client. We would then send the client guid based on the email address if we already had a synchronisation. I believe that is kind of the approach Xero wants from all the add-on partners.
