Schedule pay rate changes with effective date (AU Payroll)
Xero Payroll (Australia) currently doesn’t allow future-dated pay rate changes. Updates to pay templates apply immediately, requiring manual reminders and increasing the risk of payroll errors.
Please add an effective date field (as available in other regions), or similar functionality that allows pay rises to be scheduled in advance and automatically applied in the correct pay run.
This would reduce compliance risk, improve accuracy, and significantly streamline payroll processing for Australian businesses.
