develop module to import from excel

providing code to connect to API from excel would allow me to build custom reports in Excel that could be automatically updated from the spreadsheet.

The reporting in Xero is somewhat limited, so this would give me much more flexibility in a format my customers are happy with...

        Start by choosing a template designed for POSTing from the Templates Library such as:
        - Invoices and Bills,
        - Manual Journals,
        - Bank Transactions,
        - Bank Transfers,
        - Contacts,
        - Employees,
        - Items,
        - Purchase Orders,
        - & others.

        POST transactions details carried out in Excel are visible on screen and logged on the Dashboard. Details include if transaction was successful or if there was an error during POSTing.

        I am a Excel VBA Developer,but new to deal with API Integration from Excel to Xero.My Task is to batch upload Timesheet in Xero.

        We have two Xero approved addons that allow you to backup your data to spreadsheet and also using an Excel addin give you dynamic access to your Xero data across many clients in Excel.         I obtained the Webrecs plugin and tried it in Excel 2010. It allows you to add invoices from an Excel sheet. It doesn't do reporting.

        This would be a great feature. I have worked with many systems and being able to refresh back to excel to the underlying data is a great function.
