Sort your reports out
Why are Xero reports so frustrating??? Is it just me?
Another one that has wasted extreme amounts of time, the vat audit report.
Why is it spread over a ridiculous area so you have to view it in wide view to see any useful information. What is the point? It fits it on a normal view then expands itself and you lose half the useful information?
Then you have to randomly click all the blue underlined options to find the ONE that drills down to the detail. You check what you need to - ie why the hell there are numerous VAT Adjusted entries. You check the first one, then click the back arrow to go back and check the next one - but wait the report judders back to the very start original view, then judders to the stupidly wide view with half the information missing so you have to click wide view again, wait for it to sort its self out then scroll through hundreds of entries back to where you were and hopefully remember what one you checked last. STUPID USELESS WASTE OF TIME.
- The report does not have to be wide, the columns are ridiculously wide for no reason and you can't adjust them or take out what you don't need, so you can fit the information on one page.
- Why does it insist on "adjusting" the vat? Or even recording rounding? You just amend the amount, vat can be up or down it always has been, no need for all the other confusing annoying stuff to make things difficult? Why does it not go back to where you were whenever you click back? This is the whole system, everywhere you are, whatever you are doing, you can't just get back to the place you were. Xero has managed to go backwards with this software? Why are you not taking any notice of your community? Here I am wasting my time again asking questions that I will never get a proper response to or any improvements or answers from when I should be processing accounts. This has made my job harder not easier I have never wasted so much time in trying to do the most basic bookkeeping tasks in over twenty years. Why don't your developers just sign up to something like QuickBooks Online or any desktop software and see how easy it is on everything else. Maybe then they could start making Xero what it is cracked up to be? It actually makes me want to do a different job! I am aware I am just ranting to myself now, this is what xero has done to me!
