Automatic credit card billing for recurring invoices
You currently allow invoices to be paid using credit card (DPS, PayPal etc).
If it's a recurring invoice (particularly if it's monthly) it'd be great if the client could opt to be billed automatically by credit card.

Any update on this? Recurring payments is at the foundation of many businesses nowadays.
Xero not supporting integration with the main payment gateways on this aspect seems a major thing to address. And it was raised in 2013... -

DPS has had the ability to support repeat Credit Card billing since day one; but Xero needs to change the information in their integration for repeat billing field TXNDATA1 (DPS only) which is currently set to ‘No’ (0) to ‘Yes’ (1). However it was apparently too hard - so now we have to pay an additional fee for another service from a different supplier to get the same thing I’m already paying for (?!) Feel free to set me straight if I am missing something – but this is what I was told I all that is required.

My new Xero Add-on, ucollect.biz, allows you to do this. We currently facilitate pre-authorised automated collection of any invoice in Xero based on the invoice due date using charges to bank accounts (Direct Debits in NZ, AU and Europe; ACH coming for US very soon) and Credit Card (Stripe, DPS, Authorize.net - we can add more based on demand). There are a bunch of other useful features including suspending collection and installment plans, as well as a partner program.

automatic ACH billing to customers business checking account would be great as well.
