add Receive Money transactions via the API
We commonly expect to receive cash from within our organisation; ie: depositing a float, or cash takings from a sale. Rather than invoice ourselves, a simple Receive Money transaction would track and account for this nicely.

Is Graham right - surely not.. is their no way of getting an online payment taken outside of Xero is for someone to approve the invoice.. Bonkers.. many company's take hundreds of small payments online.. please please tell me this is not the case.

Hi. Is this planned for your Dec 2010 release?
I have looked through the forum and it seems without this, or the ability to post journal entries, or set invoices to approved through the api, that there is no other way to programatically enter payments through though the api without a human having to touch the transaction at some point.
Is that correct?
Has anyone else found a way to do it?

This function would mitigate a lot of the pain of not allowing creation of approved invoices. If we could record a completed sale rather than a combination of invoice and payment, then that would make Xero integration with our ecommerce website possible. Right now, Xero can't integrate for us, and so I'm going to have to look in to alternatives (Saasu?).
