    This would solve a lot of our problems, if we were able to specify codes on line items which would enable us to control our stock a lot more in a user friendly atmosphere.

    Agreed. We would like Xero to do all the summation and accounting, I only want to store the product code so our application doesn't worry about the billing aspect, only managing items to bill and adding them to the invoice.

    We need this feature enabled so our application can send the Item code and also get all the Item code so we can check which items are available. Will be really handy if this can be enabled

    This also would require the ability to GET a list of item codes, so the other system could maintain a sync'd list of price list items with Xero. Ideally the price list items would be GET and PUT so that a master list elsewhere could be kept updated in Xero.
