Update requested please

The ability to enter draft manual journals via our API will not be in our December 2010 API release (due to be pushed live before 25 Dec).
We have started a Journals endpoint and will be releasing the the ability to GET Journals (equivalent to the data you can retrieve via our journal export in the app) in our Dec release.
The next step for work on journals is the ability to allow you to enter draft "ManualJournals" which is progressing nicely but has a bit more work before we can release it to the wild.
This request is amongst our top priorities - I'll update the status of this and provide some XML samples as soon as we have some more news for you.

Guys - any ideas on how far away this functionality is?

This is essential for our business. In fact without it we now have to look at another solution - really short term as we were told months ago that this functionality would be available or in fact was already available. We will have hundreds of journal movements in our system - not viable doing them by hand.

This would also allow integration with inventory applications that need Inventory and COGS dollars passed to GL accounts.

I assume this is a similar request to "Expose everything via the API". Whilst my vote would be for the "Expose everthing......", I've voted for this, because it has more votes ;-)
If you're going to do it, then do it properly - it is essential this functionality is in place and standard in competive products. I would like the ability to import multiple transactions on a daily basis. -

This is crucial to our UK payroll integration

I second this, as posting using an Invoice via the API doesn't allow posting to the bank accounts - which nobbles my application interface.

Would love to have this feature to build-out a couple of real-estate related applications.
