    Essential for reporting cost of goods sold, and profitability. I can see this is available for PUT and POST but why not GET?

    Hey Xero Team...this is critical...As many other Xero customers, we're using an external e-commerce site for sales and importing invoices into Xero. Without the ability to record product codes into the Invoice Item field, we can't efficiently get product sales reports.

    PS: I initially added 3 votes to [Add Price List Items via the API] because this was what I thought [Exposing the Item Code in the Invoice via API] related too. ooops
