when contacts are merged show this status for the API

When merging contacts the system seems to treat them as a delete so we can’t differentiate them from a full delete. Ideally they should show a status of merged and the ID of the contact they were merged with that way we could perform the same action in the CRM of merging the contacts history rather than deleting them.

    Urgently required as very time consuming trying to ascertain why an invoice will not process! What's the use of having a merge process in place if then AE will not then incorporate this as a function as meant to be a useful tool not hinder your processing! That's a big fat 'yes' please install this fix.....

    Defeats the object of uploading if you have to add manually anyway.

    Sorry, but this explanation is really unhelpful.
    If voting 'yes' means that my invoice is uploaded to xero, then I vote 'yes.'
    Otherwise I am back to old-fashioned manual data entry!
