  1. Add an OData interface to query live transaction data directly from Microsoft Excel

    Microsoft Excel is an essential tool for all accountants. It can be easily configured to consume an OData data source. OData is a standardized protocol for creating restful data APIs.   2. create Purchase Order reports

    Currently there is no way to report on the status of purchase orders, or details of what has been ordered. I think we should have a basic report exportable to excel with the following headings:

    PO number,
    supplier,
    details of items on order,
    date raised,
    date due,
    amount,
    total,
    gst,
    grand total,
    status,
    person who created the PO.

  3. Add the "Analysis Code" field to the Bank Statement report end point

    The bank statement report API works great. For each bank line it has the date, amount, particulars, code and reference fields, however the "Analysis Code" field is not available, although it is available via the normal Xero interface on the Bank Statement view. Sometimes this field contains important transaction identifying information. Please make this available via the Report API.

  4. Sort on report column headers

    It would be very convenient if report column headers were sortable.

    For example, when I run a "Sales by Item" report, I'd like to click on the "Total" column header to re-sort the report by Total, either ascending or descending.

    If this sorting was available for all column headers, I could immediately find out:
    - best and worst selling product by sales revenue
    - best and worst selling product by units moved
    - most expensive product
    - least expensive product
    - lowest and highest average selling price

    ....all in seconds with just a few clicks on column headers, and without…

  5. Add a "Hero" report module position to the Dashboard for beautiful graphical reports

    Some UI improvements -

    Add a Hero or Showcase module position to the Dashboard. Give users options to select from various graphic reports for things like profit and loss or daily sales.

    Or perhaps you allow the user to select and compare activity in multiple accounts and choose the type of output graph.

    You may even allow drag-and-drop positioning of multiple custom graphs or reports - on top of the listing of bank activity, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
