be able to retrieve account transactions via the api.

Provide an API to retrieve the transactions of an account. (e.g. something like this Profit & Loss report-> click on the YTD value of an account)

Thanks for your continued feedback and patience on this long-standing request. Our team has started to build this out, and we're looking forward to sharing more as development and testing progresses.


This release will introduce a new Account Data API, giving you the ability to retrieve account balances, movements, and transactions from the chart of accounts directly via the API.

As part of this work, we'll be running a beta in October if everything goes to plan with a small group first, so we can test the experience and gather feedback before broader availability. We'll continue to post updates here as we reach key milestones.

    I'm very surprise this feature is not your top priority, being able to extract all transactions is accounting 101.

    We've had to work around this not being available, and are still providing clients with a confusing and sub-par experience when using reports in our Xero app. Please can we have a Transactions API Xero?
