  1. Hi there,

    Currently, there is no way to determine via the API if a payment has an attachment. We are able to retrieve any attachments via using the BankTransactions endpoint (using the payment ID).

    For completeness, we need to be able to have the HasAttachment attribute accessible when returning a list of payments - the only way to do this currently is to retrieve the BankStatements/ID/Attachments endpoint for EVERY single payment - which is a pretty big use of resources.

    Alternatively (a breaking change) - can we either be able to retrieve Payments via the BankTransactions end point. Adding "HasAttachments"…

  2. I'd like to be to able to enter the customers address when I create a quote or invoice. Currently I can only do this once the quote/invoice is created by editing the customers details.

  3. In invoice get api, it has Payments named property, which contain payment of that invoice. Problem is that Invoice->Payments property is missing Account info.

  5. Add an employee flag for indigenous/non-indigenous to allow reporting of the number of indigenous employees for all payroll type reports. This is grant reporting requirement for indigenous corporations.

  6. Currently on the Dashboard you cannot see the quantity on hand. It would be easier for tracked items on the Dashboard to have a quantity column, so that it's easier for smaller firms to keep track and be able to place orders efficiently.

  7. • Contacts/Project Dashboard - The Contacts page could be improved with a dashboard of all relevant data for that Contact such as the P&L for the client and their projects. I would also like to see a Statement feature detailing all invoices and payments in journal display i.e. account debits and credits, filtered either by Contact and/or Projects.

    • Sales Pipeline – A New Leads/Tenders/Quotes feature would allow the Sales team to add details for new clients and projects. Unsuccessful New Leads could be demoted to Old Bids which would keep the contact, bid and project details on the system.…

  8. GET attachment from Expense Claims
    The current implementation of Expense claims will not allow you to retrieve any attachments made to a Receipt posted into an Expense Claim. We would like this fixed so we can retrieve attachments from within an Expense Claim based on the Receipt ID.

  9. Lots of business have multiple Shopify stores, buy at present we can only use one feed from one shop.
    This means we still have to manually input data from one store and can't upscale using the system.
    I am sure there are many other retailers with a similar problem.

  11. Currently I can assign an expense to a customer during reconciliation and apply it when invoicing. I want to be able to do this in reverse. I want to be able to invoice the customer first, and have the expense to be paid on behalf of the customer come up as an option during reconciliation. I understand I can do something like that by creating a bill, but it's tedious.

  12. When creating invoices via Xero UI, contact and organization default due date rules are applied, which is great!
    But when creating invoices via API, due date field is left blank unless it's explicitly set in the API request. All this nice logic of applying contact and organization due date, in that order, is skipped for API created invoices, resulting in a rather inconsistent UX for end users.

    And to "use" that feature of Xero, each API application would need to reimplement same logic that Xero UI already has.

    I think keeping parity between UI and API would be very good…

  14. When I create new delivery address for new PO I am able to specify its lable. However when I try to obtain available addresses from my company settings I cannot find address lable only address type. For all delivery addresses this type is the same: DELIVERY.

    We would like to list company addresses the way it is done during Purchase Order creation in Xero. The problem is that API does not send back the "Label" of the addresses (bold text like "Postal" or "Physical").   16. When a client pays parts of an invoice, the sceen view shows a 'total' line, 'less payment' line and an 'amount due' line, but it only shows the 'balance due' on the print out. I'd like to it to be the same as the screen view.

  17. I'd like to see each contact have their own email AND phone number, plus a note section i.e accounts/ workshop

    Also, at the moment, the second contact must have an email - I'd like to be able to add a contact with as many or as little fields filled out e.g Sometimes all I need to add is another name with no email or phone number

  20. The layout of the menus doesn't always seem aligned with the tasks I perform most often: "Add Credit Note" is something I use regularly. Why is the link for this action hidden so?
