include BARCODE field in Item
hi guys,
if a BARCODE field was present in the item it would enable using a barcode scanner when pick and packing the Xero order/invocie.
Also, most items / products these days have a unique standard barcode and this would enable greater integration between Xero and EDI (Electronic Integration between suppliers )

SUGGESTION
Services which are you guys are providing it's awesome , but the documentation which you have provided is not helpful at all . .. documentation should be user friendly and simple so that developers can easily integrate on their site .

to get the similar apis to update employee in 2.0 version
I am able to create employee with first name and last name. I want to update the records with detailed information. But 2.0 version does not have that capability while 1.0 has it. ( http://developer.xero.com/documentation/payroll-api/employees/) .
can we get it in 2.0 version as well ?
1 voteThe Core accounting API employees endpoint (http://developer.xero.com/documentation/api/employees/) is very different and much more limited in function. It is related to the pay run function in Xero which is quite basic and there are no plans to make any changes to this.
The Payroll API employee endpoint (http://developer.xero.com/documentation/payroll-api/employees/) is more extensive as it is an API to the Xero payroll application (currently only available in Australia).

Ability to update Practice Manager time sheet entry "Billable" field
The Practice Manager API allows the editing of most time sheet entry fields via the Time PUT Update endpoint:

However, for some reason it doesn't currently allow toggling the Billable field.
It would be really useful to allow editing of this field along with the ability to edit the rest of the time sheet entry fields.

Relation between Invoice and Repeating Invoice
Be able to differentiate invoices created due to repeating invoices and stand alone invoices.
I checked out the elements of Invoice (https://developer.xero.com/documentation/api/invoices).
I was not able to find a element which gives me this relation.I think , A new element having the 'Repeating Invoice Id' data would help me. Can this be included ?

Company wide integration
Hi I am setting up a new business and I wanted to ask on here the best way to setup the platform from the ground up for a single company wide visible business starting from the Xero base. Can I add salesforce CRM, Google documents etc. There are obviously really expensive ERP that do this but I am wondering if there is a way of doing this with cloud

Ability to create Practice Manager invoices
It's possible to get details of Practice Manager invoices using the Invoices API endpoints:

However, it's not possible to create or update invoices using the API. It seems to be possible to create and update most other objects using the API so why not invoices?
This functionality would be very useful as invoices are a fundamental part of the system.

Migrate the Pay Run API from Payrolls
With the Payrolls functionality being deprecated, the Pay Run https://developer.xero.com/documentation/payroll-api-us/pay-runs API will also be deprecated. By our understanding, this functionality, will still be available via the web UI ("Business > Pay Run"). Maintaining this subset of functionality after the overall Payroll deprecation would be useful for tools such as importers of 3rd Party payroll details.
